Our play mats consist of one fabric cover with two side zip openings, and two natural latex foam inserts.

Play mat covers: either 100% organic cotton, vegan leather, or a blend of bamboo jersey + organic cotton + spandex. The cotton covers are GOTS certified organic, and the vegan leather and bamboo jersey blend covers are OEKO-TEX certified.

‌Foam inserts: foam inserts are 1” of 100% natural dunlop latex foam. The foam inserts are Oeko-Tex certified.

The waterproof cover sets are optional, and come as a set of two zippered covers. The waterproof covers are 100% bamboo jersey fabric and Oeko-Tex certified.

The bottom of the outer cover is made with the same fabric as the top (either 100% cotton or vegan leather depending on mat type). Unlike the top, the bottom has a crease down the middle of the mat where the two foam pieces meet.

Latex foam is a natural foam rubber that's manufactured using sap from the rubber tree. It is 100% natural, non-toxic, untreated with flame retardants, anti-bacterial, self-ventilating, biodegradable, and non-allergenic. It is the perfect consistency for a soft but firm play surface. Because our latex foam is made without any synthetic chemicals, the final product often has slight variations in appearance that do not affect quality, performance, or durability in any way. It is common for small tears and bubbles to form during the baking process, and any discolorations you may notice are the residuals of burnt latex sap. These imperfections are the natural result of clean manufacturing, and are undetectable once the foam is inserted into the play mat cover.

Natural latex foam turns yellow as it ages due to the oxidation of the plant material. This is a natural process, just like the way paper yellows with age, and it does not affect the quality or performance of the foam.

Though the materials are safe, this specific product is not intended for sleep. The mats are 100% breathable and self-ventilating, but they have not been treated with flame retardants as required by sleep products. As a reminder, if your child does take a nap, you should not leave your child alone sleeping on the mats.

Cotton mat cover: To wash, unzip the cover on the sides and remove the foam inserts. Machine wash cold with mild detergent using a gentle cycle. If your cover was loose with room to shrink, feel free to dry with low heat. Once shrunken, it will stretch out with play for the perfectly snug fit. If your cover already fits the foam nicely, please hang-dry or tumble dry using no heat. Do not use fabric softener or chlorine bleach. 

Vegan leather cover: Our vegan leather mats can be wiped clean with any chemical-free cleaner. 

Foam inserts: Natural latex foam is not water resistant. Please do not attempt to wash them, but instead spot clean with mild soap and water. We also offer add-on waterproof cover sets to help preserve against spills. In the case that you need a foam replacement, please check our product listings. Due to differences in material composition, colors and prints may vary slightly from product to product.

An absorbent fabric, like cotton, can cause colors and prints to look softer, while a less absorbent material can produce a cleaner and more saturated appearance.

The cover options are organic cotton and bamboo jersey, and neither is a waterproof material.

The inserts are lightweight and firm PU foam that has been tested to be compliant with REACH standards.

This foam is much firmer than our natural latex foam, but it is still lightweight and soft. We do not recommend regularly standing on them, but little ones may sit freely.

The play couch is recommended for ages 18 months and over.

We do not recommend using the play couch as a play mat. Since the couch foam is much thicker than that of our play mats (2.5 inches vs. 1 inch), a baby could roll off the side. Additionally, the foam used in the play couch is lightweight and not as supportive as our natural latex foam. 

The picnic blanket features a built-in handle for easy carrying, so a travel case is not necessary!

Yes, the picnic blanket is constructed from organic cotton that has been dipped in a C0 DWR coating to add a water-repellent finish. We’re proud to use C0, which is a vegetable-based, PFOA-free, PFOS-free, and fluorine-free DWR coating that is more durable and better for the environment.

Lay out the blanket with the handle on the top side, and roll up from the bottom. Once fully rolled, wrap the fastener around the blanket and secure with the snap. For more compact storage, first fold the blanket into thirds, and then roll it up as previously described.

Our support pillows are made from the same organic latex foam that is in our play mats. The springy, responsive foam is the perfect balance between soft and sturdy to support you or your little ones. 

Because the pillow is such a versatile item, we recommend it for many uses but not for sleep. It is best used as pregnancy and nursing support, or for little ones who need a tummy time prop, sitting support, a play barrier, or a cuddle pillow. 

All of our materials are imported from abroad from our manufacturing partners in India, Sri Lanka, and China.

All of our products are then reviewed for quality assurance, assembled, and shipped from California, USA.

We offer FREE shipping to the contiguous United States, and calculated shipping rates to most countries worldwide.

Our international shipping rates calculate all duties and customs fees upfront so there are no hidden costs upon delivery.

We also ship to Hawaii, Alaska, and APO addresses, but they are excluded from the free shipping promotion. Rates to these states are much higher than the other contiguous states, so we are unable to offer free shipping.

We try to ship orders quickly, but depending on sales volume, fulfilment may take up to 10 business days from our warehouse in Simi Valley, California. If you need an item faster, you can select the expedited shipping option at checkout.
